Il garantit \u00e9galement la navigabilit\u00e9 du fleuve pour les grands navires, leur permettant de passer sous la trav\u00e9e centrale lorsque celle-ci est lev\u00e9e de plus de 40 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet pr\u00e9voit la liaison des deux rives de la Garonne au moyen d\u2019un tablier compos\u00e9 de trois trav\u00e9es structurellement ind\u00e9pendantes les unes des autres, r\u00e9alis\u00e9es dans l\u2019usine de San Giorgio di Nogaro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pont levant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le pont levant de la ville de Bordeaux, d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 Jacques Chaban Delmas, maire de la ville pendant 48 ans, a profond\u00e9ment transform\u00e9 la circulation et les habitudes de deux quartiers longtemps s\u00e9par\u00e9s par la Garonne. Cette op\u00e9ration est command\u00e9e par des treuils \u00e9lectrom\u00e9caniques situ\u00e9s \u00e0 la base des pyl\u00f4nes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ossature principale du tablier est constitu\u00e9e d\u2019une \u00e9pine dorsale longitudinale \u00e0 partir de laquelle se ramifient, comme les ar\u00eates d\u2019un poisson, les poutres en porte-\u00e0-faux qui soutiennent les passerelles pi\u00e9tonnes lat\u00e9rales. Cette configuration respecte le concept architectural consistant \u00e0 s\u00e9parer l\u2019art\u00e8re centrale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la circulation des v\u00e9hicules motoris\u00e9s des zones destin\u00e9es aux cyclistes et aux pi\u00e9tons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La longueur du tablier, entre les appuis situ\u00e9s sur la cul\u00e9e Rive Droite, d\u00e9finie comme cul\u00e9e \u00ab C5 \u00bb, et sur la cul\u00e9e Rive Gauche, identifi\u00e9e comme cul\u00e9e \u00ab C0 \u00bb, est de 433 m\u00e8tres, tandis que la port\u00e9e libre de la trav\u00e9e centrale mobile, la poutre levante, mesure 117,4 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La trav\u00e9e centrale est reli\u00e9e aux cul\u00e9es par deux tabliers mixtes acier-b\u00e9ton, chacun constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une poutre continue sur trois appuis : la cul\u00e9e, une pile interm\u00e9diaire en b\u00e9ton arm\u00e9 et la structure de base des pyl\u00f4nes situ\u00e9s aux quatre angles de la trav\u00e9e centrale.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n<div
