Contractor: Cimolai SpA Description: the envelope consists of 146 steel box columns with an average height of 24 m. Devoid of scale markers such as windows or doors, it forms a geometric landscape modulated by the undulations of the surface. A lattice of beams and columns surrounds the building, like a skin, to manage thermal exchange between the exterior and interior of the building and the supply of light to the interior rooms. A monumental architectural staircase has also been installed inside the building.
