Contractor: Comar Scarl Description: the construction of the new sea side door of the navigation lock of the Malamocco inlet is in progress. This door, complete with electromechanical systems and measuring 54 m x 16 m x 7 m, requires the construction of a handling system on rails to be positioned on the seabed through the use of an underwater bell that allows dry work at 14 m depth. Both the handling system and the underwater bell have been designed by Cimolai and will be built by the same. Total weight of the metallic carpentry about 2,370 t.
