Founded in 1974, the Polcenigo plant, located 10 km from the Porcia headquarters, is dedicated to pre-processing and light steelwork.
It houses several technologically advanced lines, including robotic welding systems, a profile line, laser cutting with automatic sorting, as well as systems for automated assembly and welding.
The plant specializes in pre-processing for bridges and viaducts, stadiums and buildings, as well as in the production of welded beams.
Founded in 1986, the Roveredo in Piano plant is located just 5 km from the Porcia headquarters and is also focused on pre-processing.
It houses one of the largest areas dedicated to medium-light steelwork.
The plant is dedicated to pre-processing for bridges and viaducts, stadiums and buildings.
Built in 2003, the San Giorgio di Nogaro plant is equipped with a 200-metre-long private quay, with direct access to the river (7 metres deep) and, a short distance away, to the sea. This feature enables the shipment by sea of large-scale structures.
The site also includes the pipe mill for the production of LSAW pipes, where the largest press in Europe is installed.
The collaboration with T. Mariotti S.p.A. has also led Cimolai, since 2007, to specialize in the production of ship hulls at this very plant.
Nearby, in a building on a separate road, is the IMC area, with additional spaces dedicated to steelwork.
Opened in 2011, the Monfalcone plant stands out for its direct access to the quay of the Port of Monfalcone, which is 900 metres long and 12 metres deep, enabling the loading and shipment by sea of large-scale structures.
The plant is equipped with high-capacity machining equipment and houses the heavy steelwork department.
Thanks to the ability to manufacture large pre-assembled elements, the site has specialized in projects in the energy, aerospace and major infrastructure sectors.
