Since 2007, the Company has been active in the naval sector. Thanks to its collaboration with T. Mariotti S.p.A. of Genoa, Cimolai has produced hulls and superstructures for luxury and ultra-luxury cruise ships, ferries, and military vessels.
From the mobile gates of Venice’s M.O.S.E. system to the sixteen monumental gates of the Panama Canal, Cimolai offers its expertise in the construction of large sliding gates for coastal defence and maritime traffic regulation.
When something is needed, and that something does not exist, Cimolai is ready to build it. This approach has led the Company to design and create floating bridges for the sea transport of exceptional loads or artistic floating platforms: semi-submersible structures capable of taking on different configurations and meeting the most complex requirements.
